 Hello Friends!

I hope life is treating you swell. I've had some really great experiences lately, one of them just this week on Wednesday. I had dinner with a friend I hadn't seen in fifteen years. She was my old boss at a small private school she created here in South Pasadena where I was the kindergarten teacher. It was awesome to dine with her family which included my once upon a time kindergarten student who is now a young man. He's tall and elegant and a great conversationalist.... as well as his big brother and their awesome dad. Hanging out with them was a total treat.  If there are people in your lives who you adore but haven't seen in a while... look them up and don't leave the hello in an inbox. Make a plan to see them face to face. It's such a great thing!

Event of the week: Saturday June 25th @ 8pm Night Market with the  Heidi Duckler Dance Company.

This dance/theatre company is really interesting. They do site specific choreography and this week they are hitting up the produce market in downtown LA. The choreography is based on interviews that were conducted with the vendors and the stories that resulted from those interviews. Should be really cool. I've been to a handful of their productions and they always blow me away. I will be there for this one too. Don't miss out!

Restaurant of the week:  Crossings in South Pasadena: crossings-restaurant.com

This one is a gem. The atmosphere is a perfect ten. Great bar. Great service. Great food. And the best part is the waiters don't walk up to your table every ten seconds but they do show up exactly when you need them. You can really engage in uninterrupted conversation.  They get it right. A little pricey but if you have something special to celebrate or if you want to impress your darling... this is the place. Reservations are a good idea. Ask for a table upstairs by a window.

Quote of the week: "My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style."  - Maya Angelou

Have a great weekend everyone!

And remember if you or anyone you know has real estate needs, keep me in mind!  aaroe.com/teresaruelas
